A bit about Srinagar trip

7 am,

Being the last day in Srinagar, I was just chilling with my cup of chai on a couch in our hotel room. Suddenly, dad came shouting, "Still laying, everyone is already in a bus waiting for us." Well, that's not rare, it's every morning's scene. My family is the last one to hop into a bus.

Enter the bus with a face carrying an awkward smile."Good morning everyone!"

It was freezing and my window seat luckily got some amount of sunlight fallen on. Lucky me!

On the way to our destination, some beautiful views caught my eye. Those were of typical Kashmiri life.

Kids wrapped in sweaters playing cricket. Maybe that's their part of the morning routine on holidays; absorbing vitamin D while playing.

And yeah! We got to our destination- Gulmarg.

I have no words to praise this beauty. You couldn't see anything but thick layers of snow covering such tall trees. And you feel like playing hide and seek there. But no, that's scary, right?

Seeing this amount of snow, one might be in a confused; whether to play with it, whether to roll on it.

You can have a chance to explore many activities here.

Skiing is one of them.

Now,
For lunch, we had something called 'Rogan Josh' with some rice and naan.

Next was 'Nehru Park' on Dal lake. And that was our last place to visit in Srinagar.

It is beautiful. The place is so calm.
There we had a good 15 minutes of boating. You can get a chance to choose a boat ride for anything from 15 minutes to a day in a boathouse. And it is really worth, suiting anyone's pocket.

Also the park has a beverage shop run by the J & K Tourism department. They serve hot and flavored kahva, a traditional drink of Kashmir along with some cupcakes.

It's already 5pm.

Had to get back to our hotel.

Checked out.

Now, the time to say goodbye to this little fun trip!

"Being a highly militarized area, some might be in doubt of visiting Srinagar. But let me say, you are missing the best views you could experience being in India."
